Rhino Motion EVO Quick Start Manual

Rhino Motion EVO is a motorized slider for cameras that allows for smooth and precise movement. It can be used for a variety of purposes, including:

Live Motion: Manually control the speed and direction of the slider to create smooth panning shots or other types of movement.
Create A Move: Program a specific move with in and out points, ramping, and looping. This is useful for creating complex or repeatable movements.

ATTACHING MOTION

Back out the accessory studs

Place the motor on the drive shaft press down to compress the o-ring (if motor doesn’t drop in place, move the carriage slightly to align the shafts) Tighten the accessory studs to lock the motor in place

PLUG IN MOTOR

Align cable on the controller and plug in connector. For added security, fasten the retention screw to the controller

PREPARE FOR SHOOTING

Unlock carriage brake and you’re ready to start filming.

Note: Rhino Motion will not work if the brake is locked in place

POWER ON CONTROLLER

Press and hold the power button to turn on the Controller

BASIC FUNCTIONS

Push in the Controller wheel to select menu items and change values.

Use the back button to go back and exit menus

CALIBRATE

CHARGING

Using the included charger, Rhino Motion charges fully in about 3 hours. Under normal operation the battery will last about 7 hours. If you enable power saving mode in Settings, you can get up to 24 hours of battery in Advanced Time Lapse
