Module Installation Guide
This guide applies to parts CRD-ET8X-M-9PEM1-01,
CRD-ET8X-M-PTA1-01, and CRD-ET8X-M-FAN1-01.
Before installing modules, make sure to remove the tablet from the dock, and disconnect the dock from its power source.
Port Expansion Module
The port expansion module (PEM) includes four M2.5 x 9 mm screws, five M2.5 x 4 mm screws, and a cable tie. The dock is not included.
1.
Align the PEM with the dock.
2.
Install the four M2.5 x 9 mm screws first, starting with the circled screw (1).
3.
Install the remaining five screws (2).

Through Antenna
The pass through antenna module (PTA) includes eight
M2.5 x 4 mm screws. The dock is not included.

Remove the holder module (1). Store the holder module in a safe place.

4.
Plug the port expansion power cable into the power out port (1) on the dock.

Align the PTA module as shown.
3.
Install two screws in the front of the dock.
4.
Install six screws in the back of the dock.
Fan Module
The fan module includes four M2.5 x 4 mm screws. The dock is not included.
1.
Align the fan module with the dock.

5.
Use the cable tie slots to secure the PEM cable with the cable tie.

Install the four screws.

Route the fan cable (1) down the front of the dock using the cable retention clips as shown.

Plug the fan cable into the power out port (1).
c.
Rotate the fan plug up (2) as shown to prevent it from coming loose.
d.
Plug the PEM cable (3) into the fan cable.
e.
Secure the PEM cable to the indicated cable tie slot using the provided cable tie (4).

If not using the PEM: a.
Plug the fan cable into the power out port (1).
b.
Rotate the fan plug up (2) as shown to prevent it from coming loose.

Route the cable around to the back of the dock as shown.
A space is provided for the excess cable.

If using the PEM: a.
Unplug the port expansion cable from the power out port (1) on the dock.
