Steps:

1. Remove the back bolts using 5mm Hex bit.

2. Remove four bolts.

3. Detach the back from the chair.

Hook Location

4. Insert a small flat head screw driver into each side of the cover in the hook locations shown.

5. Using a small flat head screw driver depress the two snaps on both sides of the cover and pull cover away from the tilt.

6. Release two centre snaps by squeezing together two snaps.

7. Use hammer and punch to tap out the bushing and pin to remove the B-link bushing

8. Remove pin and bushing and discard.

9. Follow the previous step to remove other side bushing and pin.

10. Use 6mm drill to remove the bolt from the swing arm.

11. Remove the other side bolt to detach the seat

13. Remove the rear top cover after removing the rear bottom cover.

Hook Location

14. Insert a small flat head screw driver into each side of the cover in the hook locations shown. Release two snaps by squeezing it.

15. Using a small flat head screw driver depress the two snaps on both sides of the cover and pull cover away from the tilt.

16. Slide the top cover forward to release the snap hook.

19. Remove the front cover after removing both rear top and bottom cover.

21. Gently lift the rear edge of the cover to release snaps.

22. Detach the front cover form the tilt housing.

23. Detach director from the tilt housing.

24. Release the two snaps.

25. Detach the director from the tilt housing.

26. Release the snap as shown to lift the cable.

27. Lift the cable to remove from the actuator.

31. Pull out the other swing arm assembly.

34. Use T25 Drive to remove the screws.

36. Detach the tension knob and the Tilt lever.

37. Hold the assembly upside down.

38. Place the lift off tool on the cylinder and strike the dead blow hammer back and forth on the both sides until the tilt separates from the cylinder.

39. Detach the tilt from the assembly.

Re-Assembly Steps:

40. Replace the tilt sub assembly in place.

41. Insert forward shaft through recline handle opening.

42. Insert the knob handle and tension handle into front tilt housing.

43. Orient icons on both controls up.

44. Replace retainer clip in place. Apply pressure to forward control to compress foam washer. Install retainer clip.

45. Tighten the screws with

T25 bit.

46. Install the arm assembly.

Press firmly to lock it.

47. Slide in the cable in place.

48. Press the cable down.

50. Replace the director in the tilt housing slot.

51. Press the snap to lock the director.

52. Replace the front top cover in place.

53. Gently press the cover to lock the snaps with the tilt housing.

54. Replace the rear top cover in place.

55. Gently press the cover to lock the snaps with the tilt housing.

56. Replace the seat in place.

57. Install bolts on both side.

Note: If the bolt housing has a paint mark, orient the paint mark upward.

58. Use torque wrench and

6mm hex bit. Torque each bolt to 250 in-lbs.

59. Insert the new bushing.

Attention: Don’t reuse the old bushing. It may be damaged while disassembly.

60. Insert new pin into bushing.

Listen for an audible click to ensure proper installation.

61. Install bushing and pin on other side.

62. Position cover aligning four snaps to rear tilt housing.

64. Install back assembly.

65. Install four back bolts using a torque wrench and a 5 mm hex bit. Torque each bolt to 150 in-lbs.

66. Sit in the chair firmly several times to lock the components together.
