2. Remove shoulder bolt and nut.

3. Use torx driver and 10mm wrench.

4. Follow previous steps to remove other side shoulder bolt and nut.

6. Use 6mm drill to remove the bolt from the swing arm.

8. Detach the seat.

Hook Location

9. Insert a small flat head screw driver into each side of the cover in the hook locations shown.

10. Using a small flat head screw driver depress the two snaps on both sides of the cover and pull cover away from the tilt.

11. Release two center snaps by squeezing together two snaps.

12. Remove the rear top cover after removing the rear bottom cover.

Hook Location

13. Insert a small flat head screw driver into each side of the cover in the hook locations shown. Release two snaps by squeezing it.

14. Using a small flat head screw driver depress the two snaps on both sides of the cover and pull cover away from the tilt.

15. Slide the top cover forward to release the snap hook.

20. Gently lift the rear edge of the cover to release snaps.

21. Detach the front cover form the tilt housing.

22. Detach director from the tilt housing.

23. Release the two snaps.

24. Detach the director from the tilt housing.

25. Release the snap as shown to lift the cable.

26. Lift the cable to remove from the actuator.

27. Slide out the cable to detach from the actuator.

28. Rotate the tension knob counter clockwise to release tension.

29. Remove the cassette screws.

30. Use T25 Drive to remove the screws.

32. Detach the tension knob and the Tilt lever.

33. Rotate swing arms/back rearward to full recline to gain access to release the forward limit.

34. Lift the tab to disengage the forward limit.

35. Rotate the casting and the back assembly to remove the leaf spring from the assembly.

38. Rotate swing arms/back rearward to full recline to gain access to the screw.

39. Use T25 Trox bit to remove the cassette bolts.

40. Detach the Tilt subassembly.

41. Use knock-out tool to remove the cylinder.

42. Separate the base from the back sub-assembly.

43. Slide the foot ring subassembly off of the cylinder.

44. Place a nylon cap at the bottom of the cylinder. Use dead blow hammer and hit the bottom of the base.

45. Detach the base form the cylinder.

Re-Assembly Steps:

46. Install the base to the new cylinder.

47. Slide in the foot ring subassembly.

48. Attach the base to the tilt sub-assembly.

49. Replace the tilt tray in place.

50. Apply the grease on the shown locations.

51. Rotate swing arms/back rearward to full recline to install the screws.

52. Install the pivot pin using

T25 bit. Torque of 40 in-lbs.

53. Install the cassette bolts. using T25 Trox bit.

54. Attach the spring by locking the spring hole with the teeth in the tilt casing .

Attention: Apply grease on the friction cap. Keep the

“THIS SIDE UP“ facing upside.

55. Pull down the casting till two click sounds to ensure it is closed properly.

56. Insert the knobs in place.

57. Orient icons on both controls up.

58. Replace retainer clip in place. Apply pressure to forward control to compress foam washer. Install retainer clip.

59. Tighten the screws with

T25 bit.

60. Insert the cable inside the slot.

61. Press the cable down.

62. Press the snap to lock the cable.

63. Replace the director in the tilt housing slot.

64. Press the snap to lock the director.

65. Replace the front top cover in place.

66. Gently press the cover to lock the snaps with the tilt housing.

67. Replace the rear top cover in place.

68. Gently press the cover to lock the snaps with the tilt housing.

72. Install bolts on both side.

Note: If the bolt housing has a paint mark, orient the paint mark upward.

73. Use torque wrench and

6mm hex bit. Torque each bolt to 250 in-lbs.

74. Install shoulder bolt and nut.

75. Use T27 torx driver and

10mm wrench to install shoulder bolt and nut.
