Before you begin, remove the top housing.

Note

: All Power Macintosh

8100 series computers require that a video card or

PDS termination card be installed in the PDS slot.

This procedure describes how to remove either of these cards.

1 Push up on the tab that secures the video card to the chassis.

2 Gently pull out the video card to remove it.

Replacement Caution:

When replacing the card, do not force it into the expansion slot. If the card does not seat properly, remove the card, check the logic board for damage, and try to install the card again.
