Print Checks
The Print Checks screen can be accessed by selecting the Print Checks button from the Transaction Information screen. This screen is used to print checks for transactions where the check number is Print.
Client type and support type filtering can be added for a user ID on the Users screen under the Security menu. If client types and/or support types are assigned to your user ID, you will only be able to print checks for those types of clients.
If no client types or support types have been assigned to your user ID, you will be able to print for all clients. The top right of the screen will display Access Limited to assigned Client Types and/or Support Types if your user ID has been set up for client and or support type filtering.
If you have more than one account, you can print for all accounts only if your checks are set to Print Check Numbers on the Check Layout screen under the Utilities, Set Up menu. If you are using numbered checks, you can only print checks for one account at a time.
You can print all checks waiting to be printed, selected checks or checks by selected criteria. With the Selected
Checks option, click the Choose button to select individual checks. As you select checks to print, your user ID will be saved with the selected checks. More than one user can print checks at the same time but only for different bank accounts. Once you select checks to print, another user will not be able to print in the same account(s) until you are done. With the Selected Criteria option, you can select one or more of the criteria options including checks dated through a date, checks for clients assigned to a specific account manager and checks assigned to a specific client type. Check each criteria option you want to use.
Click the Preview button to see a list of the checks you have selected to print and the order in which the checks will print.
If you are using Standard checks (three checks per page), select whether the first page of checks is a full page of three checks or a partial page of one or two checks.
If you are using pre-numbered checks, make sure the First Check Number matches the number on your actual check paper. If it does not match, change the number before clicking the Print button.
If you are printing check numbers on your check paper, the First Check Number will be disabled and will be automatically calculated based on the last check number printed for the account.

Transaction Information
When you are ready to print checks, click the Print button. If are printing checks for one selected account, a screen will be displayed showing the number of checks that will be printed and the check numbers that will be used. This screen will not display if you are printing checks for more than one account.
Click OK to print the checks or click Cancel if you do not want to print the checks.
After the checks have been sent to the printer, the following screen will be displayed.
The "Did Check(s) Print OK?" screen is used to verify that the checks printed correctly. Wait until the checks have finished printing before you close this screen.
** Do not close this screen until you have confirmed that the checks have printed correctly. **
If any of the checks did not print correctly, select the number of the first check that printed incorrectly from the drop down list. If you are printing for one selected account, the drop down list will be a list of the check numbers that should have printed. If you are printing for all accounts, the drop down list will show the account and check numbers in the order they were printed. Select the first incorrectly printed check from that list. When you click the Close button, the checks numbered on or after the first incorrectly printed check number (if any) will be set back to Print so you can print them again.

If you close this screen and later find that any of the checks have not printed correctly, you can set them back to Print one at a time using the Details button for the check on the Transaction Information screen. You can also set the entire check run back to Print using the Reset Transactions option under the Utilities, Transaction menu. Alternatively, you can void an incorrect check (using Void Check under the Utilities, Transaction menu) and then re-enter the correct transaction to print again.
