1 Remove the

battery .

base cover .

3 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in “

4 Remove the

memory modules

wireless card .

keyboard

Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 8 in “ Removing the palm rest

".

8 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 6 in “ Removing the system board

".

9 Remove the

display assembly .

Procedure

1 Note the power-adapter port cable routing and remove the cable from the routing guides on the computer base.

2 Remove the screw that secures the power-adapter port to the computer base.

3 Lift the power-adapter port along with the cable off the computer base.
