Samsung Mobile function guide
Most Samsung mobile phones include the SOS Message feature, which allows you to send a text message to preset contacts when you are in trouble. With the
SOS message feature, you can discreetly alert friends or family members of your situation so they can attempt to help you.
Configuring SOS messages
Your mobile phone includes options for sending and receiving SOS messages. To configure the sending options,

In Idle mode, access Menu mode and open the message menu.
Select the setting menu.
Select the SOS message menu.
Access the sending options and set the following options according to your preferences:

Sending SOS : enable or disable SOS messages.
Recipients : designate recipients for your SOS messages. You can enter phone numbers manually or select contacts from the phonebook
Repeat : set this option to automatically resend the SOS message a specified number of times.

In Idle mode, access Menu mode and open the message menu.
Select the setting menu.
Select the SOS message menu.
Access the receiving options and set an alert type.
Save your settings.
Sending SOS messages
When you are in danger, you can send an SOS message to your preset contacts.
To send an SOS message, press either end of the Volume key (up or down) four times. You may use the Dial key or Clear key depending on your phone model.
See your phone user manual.
Your preset message will be sent automatically to the designated recipients and your phone switches to SOS mode to answer calls from the recipients. When a recipient returns your call from an SOS message, the call will be automatically connected.
N To exit SOS mode, press the Power/Menu exit key.
