wall anchors please contact your local hardware store for suggestions

SECTION 1: MOUNTING GABLE TEMPLATES - VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL
1. Measure the height of your baseboard and record it in the box below. You can place the level flat on baseboard to help you get an accurate
measurement.

2. Setup the laser level and project a line onto the wall where the installation is to take place. Measure from the floor to the line every 16", 32", or 48"
beginning where your first gable is to be installed and to each subsequent gable. Record the height on the assembly instructions in the area provided.
If a laser level is unavailable to you, you can accomplish this by placing a long piece of masking tape across the wall ensuring that it is level by using the 48" level.

Select the box with the lowest value - this will be the first gable you install. This is used to determine the highest point of the floor.

From the above measurements, the first gable that you will install will be gable #5 - the gable with the smallest measurement.
If any of the measurements are more than 1" apart you will need additional floor wedges/felt pads to complete the install due to the
uneven nature of the floor.
**The reason is the first gable installed must be the gable that sits at the highest location on the floor. Failure to select the highest position
on the floor for the first gable will result in gables that do not touch the floor, gables that are too high for the shelving to sit level or
unneeded holes in the wall.

3. Cut the vertical template (Part X) off from the ground marking using the height
measured in step 1 plus 81" added to it. Only add the 81" to the height if all your
measurements are less than 1" in difference. If it will be greater, do not add
the 81".
4. Secure template to the wall in the spot selected in step 2 using masking tape,
ensuring that the top line is level and that the bottom of the template is resting on
the top of the baseboard. Once secured, ensure that the template is vertically
straight as well as horizontally straight using the 48" level.
Example: Baseboard measured 3", cut at 3 81" on the template (Part X)

5. Secure the horizontal template (part Y) to the wall using masking tape, taking
care to line up the mounting holes on part Y with the mounting holes on part X.
Use a laser level or box level to ensure that the horizontal template is level on the
wall.
Once level on the wall, mark the gable (part E) positions 4 and 5 on the wall using
a pencil. Be sure to mark the center of the hole where the screw/anchor will be
inserted.

6. Secure the next horizontal template (part Y) to the wall with masking tape taking
care to line up the mounting holes on part Y with the last mounting holes on the
previous part Y (NOT THE CUTOUT SECTION). Use a laser level or box level to
ensure that the horizontal template is level on the wall.
Once level on the wall mark the 3rd gable (part E) position on the wall using a
pencil. Be sure to mark the center of the hole where the screw/anchor will be
inserted.

Continue the process of securing the horizontal template and marking the gable
locations on the wall with pencil until all gable locations are marked.

7. For a configuration that includes a short gable (part I) you then must use
another vertical template (part X) to get the proper mounting location. Take part X
and fold up the bottom sufficiently so that it does not touch the baseboard when on
the wall.
7.
Align the upper mounting holes of template X over template Y and secure with
masking tape. Ensure that the mounting holes of template X are precisely over
the mounting holes of template Y. Check using a laser level or box level that
template X is level on the wall.
Using a pencil, mark the lower location of the gable to be installed.

8. With all gable (part E/I) positions now marked on the wall, take each gable (part
E/I) and hold it up to where it will be installed. The upper end of each gable should
sit inside the box on templates X and Y. Adjust the feet on the bottom of the
gables as necessary to ensure that they are at the correct height.

For installations with a floor variance greater than 1" as measured in Chart 1, you
will need to use additional shims/felt pads in order to secure your gables at the

10. According to your specific configuration, attach all of the shelf support
brackets to the gables where indicated on your layout. Do this while the gables
are detached from the wall to prevent damage to the walls or pulling out your clips.
Use the #3 Phillips head screw driver to install all the bolts (part G).
Caution: If there are shelves without a spacing of one step between them, leave
one of the sides shelf support brackets off to allow you to install the lower shelf
first. Once attached, you may install the above shelf support bracket.
Attention: Dans le cas de tablettes sans espaceement d'au moins un niveau entre elles,

Adjust the floor leveler to hold the gable in place so that the distances are the
