Introduction
The Purge function manages application data by deleting old or obsolete information from the application. This keeps the database size to a minimum and improves system performance. Data is purged at the Purge form.
Important: Before purging data, we recommend backing up your database. For information about backing up your database, please refer to
“Backing Up the Database” on page 200 .
Sample Data
IntelliTrack ISRP provides you with sample data. Your sample database is populated with sample warehouse sites, locations, item numbers, and item quantities. Use IntelliTrack ISRP with the sample database to become familiar with the application. When you are comfortable with the application, and are ready to establish your own warehouse sites, locations, item numbers, and item quantities, clear the sample data from the application by purging it from the application.
Note: Before establishing your warehouse sites, locations, item numbers, and item quantities, you must purge the existing sample data from the system.
