The actual quantity represents the prior pick or new pick quantity in a picking order or the prior receive or new receive quantity in a receiving order.
The target path where a program executable file resides, consisting of the drive letter and folder. The application directory is important to know when installing the ISRP workstation application, and if setting an external bar code application for label creation and printing.
The method that IntelliTrack ISRP uses to validate your
PC’s user status with your SQL Server login name and password. When installing the ISRP workstation application, you must know your SQL Server authentication type.
The capability to print bar code labels from ISRP.
Labels that use bar code symbology to capture inventory information. Can be created within the ISRP workstation application or a separate bar code application.
The connection between the PC and the handheld device for purposes of transferring data or ISRP program setting.
Main storage area for inventoried items in the warehouse.
An organization that delivers goods to your Sites.
The types of items stocked in your warehouse facility; listing item categories allows you to sort or catalog items. A category could be related to your finished goods product line, or in-stock inventory type (i.e., printed material, raw materials, finished goods).
A utility that is provided with ISRP. It reconditions the IntelliTrack ISRP database, thus improving system performance. It is a good idea to run this utility at regular intervals, based on usage.
A person or entity that buys goods or services from your operation.
Regularly scheduled inventory count that cycles through your inventory. You are able to specify the frequency of item counting by entering a cycle period for the item.
The amount of time between a cycle count for an item.
The collection of data arranged in IntelliTrack ISRP.

Expiration Date
Extended Cost
Extended Quantity
FIFO (First In First Out) Picking Used in conjunction with product expiration date. Intelli-
Track ISRP lists the locations of items being shipped in the order of their expiration date, and prompts the user to pick items in expiration date order.
For example, to put away a box of perishable items into location 1A11 with an expiration date or received date of
3/16/2004 and another box of the same perishable items into location 1B11 with an expiration date or received date of 4/20/2004, location 1A11 is listed first when selecting a location to pick from when picking an order with this item.
Forward Pick Location
The product expiration date. Commonly used with perishable inventory items.
The total cost of an item in inventory (by site or location), based on the extended quantity of the item.
The total individual item quantity in a location or site.
(When using multiple units of measure, the extended quantity represents the item total in “eaches.”)
Handheld Device
Hold (Quarantine) Designation for a Location
Host Picking
Generally, a “forward” location in the warehouse to which materials can be moved from bulk storage.
A handheld electronic organizer that holds information from your personal computer or laptop. Interfaces with the
ISRP workstation application through a separate CE Client application.
When a location is given a hold (or quarantine) designation, it cannot be used to store or move items.
Part of the Import-Export Utility. Communicates picking order activity back to a host system.
Host Receiving
Import-Export Utility
Initial Item Quantity
Inventoried Quantity
Part of the Import-Export Utility. Communicates receiving order activity back to a host system.
A utility that is provided with ISRP. Allows for data import into its database tables and data export from them. The import and export data is stored in text files (files with a.txt extension).
The initial amount of an inventoried item, when it is entered into inventory.
The inventoried quantity represents the item amount from a physical inventory count. It is not used by the system. It must be moved to on hand quantity to be used by the system. Useful for comparing ISRP on hand quantity with the physical count results when auditing inventory.

IntelliTrack ISRP is built on the three-tier architecture recommended by Microsoft for client/server environments.
Three separate areas integrate to form your IntelliTrack
ISRP product: the workstation application, the server, and the database; thus forming a scalable client/server that can handle a large number of users against a large database. IntelliTrack ISRP minimizes network traffic by shifting transactions to the back end through a middle tier that provides accessibility to upgrades.
A “kit” represents a preset group of items, of varying quantities. When the kitting process is used in the Intelli-
Track ISRP Inventory, Shipping, Receiving, Picking system, predetermined items that are part of a kit, are picked from inventory when the kit item number is selected as part of a pick order.
An inventory grouping that is identified by a number, alphanumeric character, etc.
Allows you to define a base unit (each) of measurement, and then higher increments of the base unit such as carton, bundle, and case for the items in stock. If you plan to implement multiple Units of Measure, it is important to accurately define and list these measurements so that they are available in the IntelliTrack ISRP application.
The amount of the item currently being picked against a picking order.
The amount of the item currently being received against a receiving order.
The amount of the item available.
The numeric identifier for a picking or receiving order. You have option to enable auto numbering for picking and receiving orders in the System Options form. Be aware of sort order constraints when entering order numbers.
Make sure you include enough spaces to act as a placeholder for the number. If using auto numbering for your orders, we recommended using a new starting number with at least 5 numerals (10000).
The system status of the order. An open order has not been fully processed by the system. A closed order has been fully processed by the system.
Receive new orders into inventory or pick existing orders electronically, without the use of a printed document.

An inventory count of all items by location; usually performed with a portable data collection terminal.
The ISRP system user who is picking the order.
Outbound orders. Inventory is picked to fulfill the order.
A portable device used to collect inventory data and perform inventory functions. Interfaces with the ISRP workstation application through a separate Batch Portable
Utility.
A location established as the prime location for an item.
Amount of the item quantity previously picked against the picking order.
Amount of the item quantity previously received against the receiving order.
The serial number of your purchased IntelliTrack product(s). Usually the IntelliTrack product serial number is found on the product package (for software applications) or the product mailing envelope (for additional product licenses or support agreements).
Used in ISRP workstation application; when a location is given a quarantine designation, it cannot be used to store or move items.
Allows you to query inventory and item data quickly and then view it at the Query form in the ISRP workstation application.
Area in the warehouse where goods are received.
Inbound orders. When you receive an order, inventory is added to the system.
ISRP reports provide comprehensive information about inventory movement and management at your warehouse(s). ISRP contains Inventory, Picking, and Receiving Reports.
A bar code setting in the ISRP Bar Code Labels form.
This label setting provides for an incremental increase for a specific quantity of labels based upon an initial value.
The data behind these labels is not tied to any ISRP record information, but is strictly based upon the initial value and its incremental increase.
A feature in ISRP. When activated, you may enter one serial number per item. When used, this feature enables the tracking of inventory using serial numbers.
Date a picking order transaction occurred.

Glossary
The system identifier for the Customer shipping information.
The prior pick or newly picked quantity in a picking order.
The transporting of goods. It is considered the final step in the picking process.
The shipping delivery method for delivering goods (i.e., next day air, ground, etc.)
A warehouse or storage facility.
Locations reside within a “Site” and are added to a site at the Locations form. When you create locations for a site, the warehouse space is divided into specific areas.
An application that runs the ISRP database. It may be used in conjunction with ISRP (instead of MSDE). If you use SQL Server with ISRP you do not need to run a full installation or a SQL Server installation.
Area in the warehouse from which goods are shipped.
The language used to record information in bar code form.
A portable bin location used for filling orders.
Units of Measure define a base unit (each) of measurement, and then higher increments of the base unit such as carton, bundle, and case for the items in stock. You are able to list your defined units of measure at the Units of
Measure Lookup table. Listing them here makes them available as UOM selections in various forms in Intelli-
Track ISRP.
A person who is authorized to use the system. By creating users, you are able to set login and password security, as well as track application usage.
One who supplies or sells goods.
A building where goods and merchandise are stored.
Refers to the desktop computer. Also referred to as the
PC (personal computer).
The ISRP application that is installed and used on the desktop computer. You are able to enter Site, item, and inventory information, receive goods into the system, transfer goods out of the system through the picking process, generate inventory, picking, and receiving reports, as well as setup and enable system features and options.
