Using the Channels search You can also search for DIRECTV ® channels showing a specific type of programming by using the category-based channel search.
Using the Channels tab shown in the figure, you can choose a Category from

MOVIE SHOWCASE on DIRECTV the category selection menu. Channels matching your category selection will appear in a column on the left side of the pane. Channel descriptions appear in the window as you highlight the individual channel tag.
Using the Program
Director
You can program up to 32 events in advance for viewing or unattended recording by selecting Program Director from the MAIN MENU . The
PROGRAM DIRECTOR menu allows you to automatically tune to a program at a specific date and time, or tune to a program on a repeating basis. You can:
• schedule programs for viewing ( á
)
• schedule programs for taping (
) (Model HAH-SA only)
• specify programs to record by title (Model HAH-SA only)
• select Cancel from the menu if you decide not to schedule anything.
