The device has an integrated Power Supply Condition Display (PSCD), which shows power supply condition values on front of the unit.

When the power supply is powered on, all LED segments of the PSCD are switched on for 2 seconds to indicate that all segments of the display are fully-functional.

Located on the right side of the PSCD, a Status Indicator, consisting of three LEDs, shows the basic operation status of the power supply unit:

- Alarm

- OFF

- DC OK by red color by yellow color by green color

When the input voltage has been switched off, the output power will remain present for a short period of time until the hold-up-time has elapsed. The internal supply for the Power Supply Condition Display lasts much longer and during that period the display will show

“ OFF ” flashing. After the next turn-on procedure, the PSCD shows the same menu as selected before the last turn-off sequence.

For the navigation throug h the Power Supply Condition Display modes, a single “Display” push -button is used.

Navigation through Real-Time and Recorded Data Mode

For data acquisition, the device includes a “ Real-time Data Mode ” and a “ Recorded Data Mode ”, both running continuously in parallel.

The “Real -time Data Mode ” provides information on current operating data of the unit, while the “ Recorded Data Mode ” provides stored data from previous events.

Press the Display push button repeatedly to browse through either the “ Real-time Data ” or the “ Recorded Data ”. When “ PRESS 2 SEC

FOR PAGE 1 OR 2 ” is displa yed, the modes can be selected by pressing the Display push-button longer than 2 seconds.

Available data in “Real time Data Mode”:

- Input voltage as RMS value [V]

- Output voltage [V]

- Output current [A]

- Temperature measured close to switching power components [°C]

- Total operating hours [khrs]

Available data in “Re corded Data Mode”:

- Minimum RMS input voltage [V]

- Maximum RMS input voltage [V]

- Number of undershoot transient events on input voltage [Number of events]

- Number of over-voltage transient events on input voltage [Number of events]

- Maximum output voltage [V]

- Maximum output current [A]

- Minimum temperature measured close to switching power components [°C]

- Maximum temperature measured close to switching power components [°C]

Please note: Minimum and Maximum values will be updated continuously until reset by the user.

In the “ Recorded Data Mode ” each of the non-volatile stored values can be reset to current values by the user by holding the Display push button. After 2 seconds a flashing value warns that it will be reset if the button will be kept pressed. See the following procedure:

Error Codes

In the event of an external error, the “Alar m con tact” is clo sed and the status indicator shows “Alarm”. Error details are displayed in the denomination field and in the running text, which provides an error code.

- “Err2” = Over-temperature protection primary side

- “E rr4 ” = Overload protection

- “ Err5 ” = Over -temperature protection secondary side

- “E rr6 ” = Output over -voltage protection

If the error is cleared, the “ Power Supply Condition Display ” returns to the display mode, which was selected before. T he “Alarm contact ” opens and the “Alarm” in dicator light goes off.

An event counter stores the number of each individual error to provide data for a later failure analysis.
