The Tekterm Status Area
• Just type the underlined alpha character – in this case, the letter ‘t’.

Note: A shortcut – to bypass the System Menu and go directly to the
‘Task Manager’ screen, press <ALT> <ESC>.
To switch between applications:
• Highlight the application you want to work with, and press <ENTER>.
You can also use this screen to Run (start) another application not listed in the
‘Task Manager’ screen, or you can choose End Task to close an application.
6.4 The Tekterm Status Area
Tekterm provides a status area just above the softkey labels. The status area indicates the operating condition of the hand-held. Table 6.2 outlines the options displayed in the status area.

Application
The active application is displayed in the status area – for example, Tekterm .
Security Level
Within Tekterm
The security level assigned within the Tekterm application is displayed in the status area. One of the following is displayed – User, Supervisor or Teklogix .
View Mode
When <CTRL><ALT><V> is typed to place the 7535 in View mode, this information is displayed in the status area.
