• Maximum, which provides the most trapping. Adaptive Halftoning is set to On. Settings under RGB Color affect the color treatment for all objects and determines how colors are rendered. The options are Default (sRGB) and
Device. Default. This option interprets RGB color as standard default RGB color space (sRGB), which is the accepted standard for many software companies and organizations, such as Microsoft and the Worldwide Web
Consortium. Device (sRGB). This option sets the printer to print RGB data in raw device mode. To render photographs properly when this option is selected, you must manage color in the application in which you are working or in the operating system. Note If your software application converts text and graphics to raster, the
Photographs settings also control the Text and Graphics settings.
Neutral Grays:
4-Color neutral gray colors are those caused by mixing several colors together to generate a shade of gray. An example of this is a Windows menu or tool bar. The differences are also more noticeable in areas with very low amounts of color, where small differences can represent a relatively larger percentage change. Despite onboard calibration and other techniques that HP uses to minimize these small effects, very small variations in color are an inherent part of electro-photographic printing technology.

Disabling Enterprise AutoConfiguration (Internal)
Use the following steps to modify the .INF file to remove the components that are necessary for Enterprise
Autoconfiguration (EAC).
This section applies to the Traditional PCL 6 drivers only.
Note
The .INF file should be modified only by advanced technical support personnel. Please notify the appropriate
Technical Marketing Product Manager if you receive a request that EAC be disabled.
Within the driver package .INF files for EAC-enabled drivers, the Installation section looks something like this:
; Installer Sections
[HPBF511I.PMD]
DataSection=HPBF511I_DATA
; NON EAC Copy Sections - Un-Comment to Disable EAC
;
CopyFiles=HPBF511I_FILES,LANGMON_FILES
;
; EAC Copy Sections - Comment to Disable EAC
; CopyFiles=HPBF511I_FILES,LANGMON_FILES,,AUTOCFG_FILES,HPAUTO_FILES
DataFile=HPBF511I.PMD
To disable EAC in a driver, simply make a comment of the CopyFiles that are indicated in the instructions in the .INF
file by preceding the command with a semicolon (;). The exact contents of the CopyFiles lines might differ from one driver to the next. Using the preceding example, the installer section for a driver that has been modified to disable EAC would appear as follows:
; Installer Sections
[HPBF511I.PMD]
