Grounding the Chassis Chassis and Power Supplies
Grounding the Chassis
The switch has a grounding lug located on the rear of the chassis. This lug uses 10-32 screws and is surrounded by a small paint-free area, which provides metal-to-metal contact for a ground connection.
Use this connector to supplement the ground provided by the AC power cord. To do so, install a Panduit
Grounding Lug (type LCD8-10A-L) using 8AWG copper conductors to the paint-free area.
