The Message Log Viewer

The system logs many of the operations that occur in the normal course of events. This option allows you to view these logs. You can use this function to see what agents do and to trace groups of transactions.

The system also logs internal error conditions. Usually you use the log viewer for this type of function only in conjunction with a support person.

You access this option via the Administration...System Tools...Message Log Viewer function.

You can print the log file or save it to an external file. Log files can get quite large, and there is an option to purge the log files from time to time.
