Alarm Condition Configuration

4.11 Dead Band Out Field

This optional field represents a value higher or lower than the alarm limit value (depending on whether the limit value is higher or lower than the normal value range for the signal), which will cause the signal to remain in alarm as the signal's value varies by small amounts about the alarm limit value.

4.12 Questionable Mask

When configuring NW3000 Questionable alarm conditions, the NW3000 Questionable Mask Dialog allows the user to define which bit settings for the questionable attribute of a NW3000 signal will raise an alarm. The Questionable Mask dialog is opened from the Add Alarm Condition dialog, when the Edit... button, to the right of the Questionable Mask field is selected. This button is highlighted in red below.
