Alarm Condition Configuration
4.14.4.13 Set Digital Name
Once a signal has been selected using the 'Browse for Signal' dialog (accessed from the browse button to the right of this field), it is placed in here. The signal name can also be typed directly into this field, if it is known.
4.14.4.14 Browse for Digital Signal
The dialog enables the user to browse for a Digital signal.
4.14.4.14.1 Browse for Signal Filter Grid
The signal list may be filtered by entering filter criteria into any of the attributes in the 'Filter' section as shown in the example. The use of wildcards represented by the asterisk (*) is demonstrated. An asterisk will ignore any number of characters in the name of the signal until the next specified character is found. A question mark (?) may be used to indicate a wildcard which just ignores one character.
For a detailed description of how to use wildcards and filter for special characters within the filter grid, see the Filtering with Wildcards topic.
4.14.4.14.2 Browse for Signal Refresh Button
When the [Refresh] button is selected the Signal List is updated according to the latest filter and the first 100 Signals which match the filter in the filter grid are shown unless this number has been changed by using the [Options] button.
