6.3 Replace a lamp
WARNING
Remove the power plug from the wall socket .
WARNING
Do not touch the lamps with bare hands.
Use a clean cloth or paper tissues when replacing the lamp.
Remove any moisture with alcohol or methyl spirits after the lamp has cooled down.
1.
Switch off the unit.
2.
Remove the power plug from the wall socket.
3.
Remove the porcelain lamp covers.
4.
Remove the bolts fastening the lamp and remove the lamp.
5.
Trim the metal connecting strips of the new lamp to the right length by clipping a piece off at both ends (same length as the old lamp).
6.
Position the new lamp with the white painted part upwards. While fastening the bolts, hold the metal connecting strips to prevent them from being damaged.
7.
Fit the porcelain lamp covers.
