Static IP PC
Programming
This section is
intended as a reference
. It provides instructions on how to program a Static IP into computers with very common operating systems.
This information may be used if a customer needs assistance.
Important:
It is not the technician’s responsibility to program Static IPs into the customer’s equipment. Instead, technicians should validate static IP Internet connectivity by temporarily placing the IP into their laptop for testing. The customer will then program that IP into their own equipment.
