miniVEOS must be activated with an activation key for it to work. It can operate in demo mode or a fully licensed mode where all features are available.
To find out the activation status, open the browser and type in the IP address of miniVEOS. The current license is indicated in the black bar at the top of the page.
Demo Activation
miniVEOS will run in demo mode which allows for a free 90-day trial with an unlimited number of client connections. To enable this:
1.
Locate the demo activation key file in the included CD-ROM. The filename should end with a .wpg extension
2.
Upload the activation key file to miniVEOS for activation
If you wish to extend the demo period, please contact WOW Vision.
Full Activation
To enable the full feature set, activate miniVEOS with these steps:
1.
Download a license key file from miniVEOS to your local hard drive
2.
Email the license key file to WOW Vision
3.
WOW Vision will reply with an activation key file
4.
Download and save the activation key file to your local hard drive
5.
Upload the activation key file to miniVEOS for activation

Downloading the License Key
Open a browser window and type the IP address of miniVEOS, followed by
/generatekey.php in the address bar to access the license key page:
Click on the first link to download the license key file.
The browser will prompt you to save the file:

Save the license key file wpgLicense.key to a known location on your local hard drive
Email the license key to WOW Vision at [email protected]
WOW Vision will reply with an activation key file to be imported to miniVEOS for activation
