Function key
This function is used to define the function which is to be executed when the function key is pressed (when the » « key is pressed briefly).

Silent Alarm – The audible alarm is deactivated.
The audible alarm is automatically reactivated when the instrument is switched off, but the function-key assignment remains unchanged.

Silent Alarm
This function is used to switch off the audible alarm.

When the status » Enable « is active, the audible alarm is switched off.

The audible alarm is automatically reactivated when the instrument is switched off, but the function key assignment remains unchanged.

Life Signal
This function is used to switch the life signal on or off.
The life signal, which indicates that the instrument is operating correctly, is activated when the instrument leaves the factory.
The activated life signal is required for the reliable use of the instrument as a gas-warning device.
