Determination of the response factor of a customer-specific gas
Configure PID sensor to isobutylene (IBUT).
Adjust zero point and sensitivity.
Apply gas to the sensor using customer gas of known concentration
(e.g. 150 ppm) and wait for stable measurement value.
Make a note of the displayed measurement value (e.g. 120 ppm) and determine the response factor as follows.
RF = (desired value / actual value) = (150 ppm / 120 ppm) = 1.25
Turn off the gas flow and set the sensor to the freely configurable gas (VOC1, VOC2,…).
After the short and the long gas names have been entered, enter the response factor of the gas to be measured by pressing the » « and » « keys and confirm the setting by pressing the » « key.
