5.4 Checking the Transmission Between the BBU and RFU on the BTS Side
This describes how to check the transmission between the BBU and the RFU on the BTS side.
By checking the link status of the BBU and RFU, you can rectify the fault caused by abnormal connection, thus ensuring normal communication between the BBU and the RFU.
Context
In this document, RFUs are classified into two types: DRFUs and GRFUs.
Procedure
Step 1 Check the status of the CPRI0 LED on the GTMU panel of the BBU and the status of the
CPRI0 and CPRI1 LEDs in the RFU panel.
If...
All the LEDs are in the on in green status
Then...
The communication between the CPRI0 port on
the BBU and the RFU is normal. Go to Step 4 .
