INSTALLATION

Waste Bin Sensor Trigger

Install the waste bin trigger onto waste bin; make sure the trigger is fastening tight and secure for engagement with waste bin sensor correctly.

Waste Bin

Slide the waste bin into the slot. Make sure waste bin is all the way inside.

Stack Tray

Hook the tray onto the mounting slot on the machine according to page 7 of stacking tray setting up for business card or greeting card

Power Cord

Use caution when plug in power cord.

Plug power cord to the machine and plug the other end into the wall outlet.

SETTING UP PROCEDURE

1

To set the width of paper, loosen thumbscrew knob on the side guide and slide to position.

Use marking as reference point.

Fan paper before loading. This will reduce static and toner adhesion due to printing.

For best result, the paper stack should be flat.

Push the feed tray down and load the paper.

Readjust paper guide if needed.

Adjust tray pressure. For thinner paper, the number should be higher. For heavier paper the number should be lower.

Use slitter registration adjustment knob to compensate for printing registration. The knob will allow ± 2mm of adjustment.

Rotate the sitter adjustment knob to align with die module or printer variation

Press into Batch Count edit mode

Press to set batch count to desire number. Count will increment by factor of 10. Maximum batch count setting is 50.

CREASE SKEW ADJUSTMENT

Skew adjustment is needed only when folding finished paper is skew.

1.

The crease module has 2 thumbscrews. Loosen thumbscrew on operator side only.

Loosen lock nut.

Turn adjustment screw to ½ turns.

Make sure the crease module is against the adjustment screw and press “Start” to test 1 sheet of paper.

5.

Check fold to see if more adjustment needed. If skew is worst turn thumbscrew opposite direction. If more adjustment needed, repeat step 3 and 4.

If skew has been corrected, turn the “Lock Nut” to hold adjustment skew in position.

SLITTER ALIGNMENT

Adjust slitter to align with images when needed.

1.

Loosen a bit the slitter lock thumbscrew.

2.

Turn the slitter adjustment knob clockwise or counter-clockwise 1 full.

3.

Run one sheet through to see if slitter is correction position by pressing start button.

4.

If slitter alignment is worst, turn slitter adjustment knob in the opposite direction. Repeat step 2 & 3 until slitter alignment is at the desire position.

5.

After the slitter is aligned, tighten the slitter lock thumbscrew.

EMPTY THE WASTE BIN

The cutter display waste bin full warning when the sheet count is reached 80.

1.

Remove waste and empty it.

2.

Then place waste back into position.

3.

Press

RESET COUNTER

to clear error.

Hold for 2 seconds the counter to clear counter.

CLEAR JAM

In case jam occurs in the machine follow these steps to clear jam.

1.

Power down the machine and pull paper toward feed tray.
