Additional features
Operating the dishwasher
“Top Solo” (16)
“Top Solo” is recommended when washing a small load. With this function most of the water is directed only to the top and middle spray arms of the dishwasher. This means that the water jets are aimed at items in the upper basket and the cutlery tray if the dishwasher has one.
The middle spray arm also directs water downwards so lightly soiled plates can be placed in the bottom basket, and cutlery may be placed in the cutlery basket if there are large spaces between pieces.
Do not place dishes, bowls or other hollow containers in the bottom basket.
Because a smaller load is being washed the amount of detergent recommended can be reduced to approximately 2/3 of the amount for a full load.
When using less detergent make sure that the cleaning results are not affected.
Using “Top Solo” saves water and energy.
For example, using this feature with the
“Economy 55 °C/130 °F” program uses only 10 quarts (10 l) of water and approximately 0.6 kWh of electricity.
“Top Solo” can be selected with all programs.
