Operating the dishwasher

Programme sequence indicator lights (14)

The "Wash/Rinse" indicator light comes on in the pre-wash, main wash, interim rinse and final rinse stages of a programme.

The "Drying" indicator light comes on during the drying stage of a programme.

The "End" indicator light comes on when the programme has finished.

Switching off

At the end of a programme:

^ Turn the programme selector (16) to the "Stop" position.

The "End" indicator light (14) goes out and the "Start" indicator light (17) flashes.

^ Press the On/Off button (13).

The "Start" indicator light (17) goes out.

At the end of a programme

A programme has finished when the

"End" indicator light comes on in the programme sequence display (14).

The dishwasher can now be opened and unloaded (see "Unloading the dishwasher").

For safety’s sake it is advisable to always switch the dishwasher off if you do not wish to start another programme immediately.

The dishwasher continues to use electricity until switched off using the

"On/Off" button.

If the dishwasher is not to be used for a longer period of time, e. g. whilst on holiday, the stopcock should be turned off.
