GP output 5 may be configured (see Section 7.33 Root | Unit | Generic | Menu:33 GP Outputs 4, 5,
6) to trigger an external Beep generator three times before the record in point. The interval between beeps is 17 frames in PAL (approximately 1 foot). GP output 5 will be high for one frame at the following intervals before the record in point.
