Select The Soundtrack
Your VCR can record two soundtracks simultaneously (Normal and Hi-Fi) and play back the selected one, or both together. Or, when viewing a pre-recorded tape that contains both a main and a sub audio track, you can choose to listen to either one by selecting either "L" or "R" in step 4.

The indicator on the front display panel representing the mode you selected lights up (Hi-Fi: L+R; L: L; R:R;
NORM: NORM; MIX: L+R).

Press MENU as many times as necessary.
NOTE:
If the tape being played back has no Hi-Fi soundtrack, the
Normal soundtrack will be heard no matter what choice you make at the Audio Monitor screen.
