Set Up>System
The system menu configures the high level parameters within the XLR 550.
Keyword Description
Hostname
This is a case-sensitive string of 1 to 16 characters (Not including tabs, spaces, double quotes (“))
This name is used for the system, and as CLI prompt and in SNMP as sysName.
Description
Description for the system.
< description > : A case sensitive string of 1 - 64 characters. (Not including tabs, spaces, double quotes (“))
This name is used for the system, and as CLI prompt and in SNMP as sysName.
Auto-logout
Number of minutes until the system disconnects an idle web or telnet session automatically.
<timeout> : Valid values are 0 to 10,000 minutes.
The default value is 20 minutes. Setting the value to 0 disables the automatic disconnection of sessions.
Bootconfig - Startup configuration files for the system
Bootimage - Firmware file that will be loaded when the system reboots.
Baudrate - Baud rate of the console port. Valid rates are 9600, 19200 and 38400.
The default is 38400.
