To transfer an application program to an XBT-F HMI, there are two methods: local transfer and remote transfer. Local Transfer: This involves a direct connection between the computer and the terminal using a cable. Steps include installing the terminal, connecting it to the PC, powering on the terminal, opening the application in XBT-L1000, and selecting "Transfers/Export towards terminal" in XBT-L1000. Remote Transfer: This method uses a Unitelway or Fipway network connection. It requires the terminal to be pre-configured with a Unitelway or Fipway compatible application, either through local transfer or a PCMCIA card. A Fipway communication card needs to be installed in the computer to use this protocol.
