Managing Symbols in the Content Explorer

The Content Explorer allows you to perform a wide variety of symbol-related functions. It’s a tool for managing symbol definitions and the symbol libraries in which they are stored, much like Windows Explorer is a tool for managing files and folders. Finally, it’s one of the means for setting a current

library and a current symbol.

The current library is the collection of symbols that appears in the symbol page of the Content Librarian (if the Content Librarian is set to be visible).
