12 GMC 305 (AFCS MODE CONTROLLER) INSTALLATION

GMC 305, GMC 307, and GMC 507 except where specifically noted.

This section contains general information as well as installation information for the GMC 305. Use this section to mount the GMC 305 unit.

12.1 Equipment Description

The GMC 305 is a Garmin Automatic Flight Control System (AFCS) Mode Controller that can be used in a G3X installation. The GMC 305 provides a user interface for the autopilot function of the G3X system.

The GMC 305 mounts flush to the aircraft instrument panel using four threaded cap screws.
