Before Using

User Interface

User Interface

When the LCD display is OFF, the device is in standby mode. If the station is inactive for approximately one minute or if the [HOME] button is pressed while the display is active, the station will enter standby mode.

Note

Screen display varies depends on the settings.

Home Screen

Tap the LCD display when the station is in standby mode or press the [HOME] button to display the Home Screen.

There are 2 types of Home screens. This can be changed in Settings.

Indicates the current date, day of the week, and time.

: This is displayed while schedule transfer is configured.

: This is displayed while delay transfer is configured.

• : This is displayed when a microSD card is inserted. Tap it to remove.

Tap to enter a unit number or station number using the keypad and place a call.

Tap to display a list of stations to call.

Tap to turn absent transfer ON/OFF.

Tap this to turn the privacy function ON/OFF.

(The privacy function turns the microphone and image from this station off when a call is answered with Auto Answer, so that audio and video are not sent to the other party.)

CALL

Name Description

Tap this to place a call using the address book.

Missed Incoming Call History Shows recent incoming call history and recorded videos. If no videos have been recorded, the recorded video image will not be displayed.

Name

Description

Indicates the priority level of the incoming call and page.

: Urgent, : Priority, : Normal

The following items can be adjusted.

• : Zoom lock

• : Backlight compensation and nighttime sensitivity correction for video

: Screen brightness

: Receive volume

: Mic volume

: Ringtone

Number of incoming calls and priority

Shows the number of incoming calls and the priority. Tap to display the calling stations in a list and select a station to answer.

: Urgent, : Priority, : Normal

Primary video display area Shows video from the source station or associated network camera. Depending on the settings, you can set which to display.

Secondary video display area Displays if a network camera is associated with the calling station, and the station has a camera. A different video will be displayed from what is displayed in the primary video display area.

Tapping the screen switches between the primary video display area and the secondary video display area.

Calling station Displays the station number, station name, and building name of the source station.

Also shows the network camera name if the network camera is linked to the source station. (The character may become corrupted depending on the set language.) If the number of characters is long and is tapped, the display may be scrolled.

Time Indicates the current time.

• Pressing any part of the screen other than an icon while video is displayed from the camera will hide the icons for a certain period of time. Tap the screen again to display the icons.

Keypad

Primary video display area

Tap this to display the keypad. Release the electrical lock ( → page 60) through keypad

input.

Unlock the door.

Shows video from the calling station or associated network camera.

Secondary video display area Displays if a network camera is associated with the other station, and the station has a camera. If the calling station is IX-MV7-* and there is no associated network camera, the video from this station will be displayed. A different video will be displayed from what is displayed in the primary video display area.

Calling Station Displays the station number, station name, and building name of the calling station. If the calling station is a Mobile App, "Mobile Apps" is displayed. Also shows the network camera name if the network camera is linked to the calling station. (The character may become corrupted depending on the set language.) If the number of characters is long and is tapped, the display may be scrolled.

Time Indicates the current time.
