To mute the sound temporarily
Procedure
1. Press on the remote control.
Mute sound temporarily.

• The mute setting can also be released by pressing

Attention
• If a speaker with built-in amplifier is attached to the line output connector, adjust the volume on the external speaker. You cannot adjust the volume using the remote control of the monitor.
• When you try to mute the speaker with all the conditions below, “This operation is not available on current status” is displayed.

3-3. To adjust the sound level
The input sound level can be adjusted.
The volume difference may occur depending on the kinds of input signals, since the average sound level of the external device differs. You can reduce volume differences by adjusting the sound level. For example, if the volume difference of HDMI1 and HDMI2 input signals becomes large, you can reduce the volume difference between them by raising the “Sound Level” of the lower volume side.
