Unauthorized Use

• In cases of unauthorized use specified below, the appliance may be damaged or cause injuries;

• This device is not suitable for people who are not mentally stable or who do not have enough information to use such devices. Please do not let these people use the appliance.

• Keep small items of packaging and plastic bags away from children. There is a risk of choke!

• This appliance can be operated by children of 8 years and above, people with limited physical, auditory and cognitive skills or people with lack of experience and knowledge as long as they are under supervision or they are provided instructions regarding the operation of the appliance.

• Don’t let children play with the appliance.

• In case they are not older than 8 years old or unsupervised, children should not clean or maintain the appliance.

• Keep the appliance and its cable from the reach of children aged <8.

• When using an electrical device, the following precautions should always be taken. In order to prevent fire, electric shock and personal injuries;

• This device has been designed for domestic and office use only. Using the appliance for other purposes will cause damage.

• Before using the device, make sure your mains voltage is compatible with the device voltage.

• This device is not a toy. So please never let children play with the appliance and be more careful when there are children.

• Before the first use, check the device for damages and malfunctions. If there is any malfunction or damage to the equipment, do not use the appliance and get in contact with Fakir Authorized Service.

• Following simple safety measures must be taken while using this electrical device;

• Please read the user manual before you use the appliance.

• Ensure that your mains voltage match the appliance voltage by checking the type label.

• This appliance is intended only for domestic use. Do not use this device at outdoors, for commercial purposes or industrial purposes.

• Use and keep this device away from the children.

• Plug the device to an undamaged grounded socket. In order to not expose the device to any risk, we recommend you to not use extension cord . If you use any extension cord, please pay attention that the plug you will connect is grounded and the cable section is 0.75 mm2.

• Please do not locate your tea machine on or near a heated oven, furnace, etc. heated

surfaces.

• Ensure that the device is located on a sound and plain surface.

• Do not locate on table or workbench corners. Hitting or crashing the device may cause falling. Never forget that the device may be full of hot water.

• Avoid hanging the device cord from the table corner or contacting to any device.

• Refrain from any act to damage the plug and cord of the device. Never try to carry the device through holding from the cord. Unplug the appliance always by holding its plug.

Never try to pull and drag from the cord.

• Do not interfere to the device except for the purpose of cleaning and maintenance. If the cable, plug or another part of the appliance is damaged, do not use it. If the cable, plug or another part of the appliance is damaged, in order to avoid any damage, it must be replaced at a Fakir Authorized Service

• Always use the handle while holding the device and protect your hands from steam during boiling. Do not hold the surface of the device, since it will get hot during boiling.

• Unplug the device when not in use or before cleaning. Before cleaning, wait for a while for it to cool down.

• Use the device only on its own power transmission base. Do not locate the device on a power transmission base of another devices.

• Protect yourself from the steam during boiling and avoid your children to play with the device.

• The on/off button must be in downwards (zero position) while the kettle of the device is not in use or empty.

• While the button for keeping warm (2) is on, there must be a pot or cover on the kettle.

Otherwise, the device will continue to boil the water and passing to energy saving mode will be delayed.

• The amount of water in the kettle must be within the maximum and minimum levels

(0.5 - 2 litres). These limits are marked on the kettle. May cause overflow during boiling if water limit is exceeded. Pay attention to keep water level over the minimum level, add water when needed.

• Do not contact the kettle and power transmission base of the device with water or any liquid. Do not locate into the dish washer and not use in areas with high level of humidity, such as bathroom.

• Take the device off the power transmission base while filling it with water.

• Do not place any liquid other than water into the kettle of the device.

• Do not leave the power transmission base of the device and the electric cables connected to the device in a damply manner. If it got wet, unplug before drying and do not use the device before it is fully dried.

• This device must not be used by small children or people with low physical, mental, cerebral abilities or who are lack of experience and knowledge without the observation of a person liable for their safety. Avoid small children to access to the device.

• Close supervision is required to ensure that children don’t play with the appliance.

• Your tea machine is a very practical device for brewing classic black tea.

• You can also use this device as a kettle.

• There might be injury due to faulty use.

• Caution, the metal surface of the device is hot during operation.

• * Do not use the device outdoor.
