operating_system_command
The dot command allows the user to execute an operating system command and to return to the INFO environment without losing the current INFO settings or altering the current INFO select/relate states.
arguments
operating_system_command is a complete command in native syntax. For operating systems which let commands execute without disrupting the user environment, the operating_system_command is optional. For INFO programs, the operating_system_command is required.
An unqualified command will create a sub-process at
PRIMOS level. Entering X will return to the INFO session.
examples
ENTER COMMAND >.LD @@DR9
The above will list all files on the current Primos directory ending in DR9
