7. PRODUCT FUNCTION
7.1. Compressor without dryer
Fig. 1 The air pump (1) draws in air through an inlet filter (8) and compresses it through a check
valve (3) into an air tank (2) from which the appliance draws compressed air. If the pressure in the air tank drops to the switching pressure, the pressure switch (4) turns on the compressor and the compressor supplies compressed air to the air tank until it reaches the switch off pressure, at which time the compressor switches off. The pressure hose is vented through the relief solenoid valve (12) once the compressor unit is shut off. The safety valve (5) prevents the pressure in the air tank from rising above the maximum permitted value. Condensate from the air tank is automatically drained at regular intervals into the vessel via the condensate drain solenoid valve (13). Compressed, oilfree filtered air is stored in the air tank ready for use
7.2. Compressor with membrane dryer
cooler (10) through the filter (11) and the check valve (3) into the dryer (9), and feeds the clean and dry air into the air tank (2). A portion of the air bypasses the dryer with the captured moisture, which is manifested as a gentle stream of air along the body of the dryer (9). Condensate from the filter is automatically drained at regular intervals into the vessel via the condensate drain solenoid valve
(13). The dryer continuously dries the compressed air. Condensate is drained from the air tank via the drain valve (7), depending on the drying controls. Compressed, oil-free filtered air is stored in the air tank ready for use.
For the membrane dryer to work as intended, the dryer is connected directly to the air tank without
NP-DK50 PLUS, 2V-MOBILE-A-4_12-2019-MD 10 12/2019
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION the use of a check valve. As the membrane dryer contains selective membrane fibres, there is a small amount of air leakage through them (about 0.5 bar/30 min)
This is why there is a gradual, slow drop in pressure even when there is no demand for compressed air (from the air tank), however, this is not a malfunction.
The pressure vessel does not need to be drained.
7.3. Compressor cabinet
shape of the cabinet defines the position of the compressor itself. The rolling casters and the rigid structure of the cabinet itself ensure easy and simple manipulation of the cabinet. The cabinet is composed of a base (on the casters) and a cover connected by 4 columns and enclosed with 4 panels (doors). Every panel (door) may be removed by unscrewing the 2 quick closures.
The top of the front cover of the cabinet is equipped with a pressure gauge showing output pressure, a pressure regulator, main switch, ON/OFF indicator (green indicator) and high temperature indicator for the cabinet (orange indicator). The power cord is routed outside the bottom of the cabinet in the rear (19). A Ø6/4 compressed air hose removes condensate from the dryer with an adapter at the condensate drain from the cabinet (24) and the compressed air outlet from the compressor cabinet (23) is connected by a Ø10/8 hose (34) to the pressure regulator (33) on the cabinet. The compressed air output with an internal G1/4 thread (or a quick connector for a Ø12/9 hose) is located on the surface of the cabinet (20).
The compressor runs in automatic mode when the power switch (28) on the cabinet is switched on.
The following are located on the rear of the cabinet: cooling fans (25) to exhaust hot air from the cabinet through the hot air exhaust ventilation openings in the cabinet (21). The cooling fans are activated at 40 °C by a switching temperature switch and remain on until the temperature in the cabinet falls below 32 °C. At elevated temperatures (above 80 °C) inside the cabinet, a COOLING
FAILURE is indicated by the temperature switch via the orange indicator on the panel (30).
Risk of compressor overheating.
Make sure that there are no obstacles at the cooling air inlet into the cabinet
(around the bottom part of the cabinet) and at the hot air outlet on the top back side of the cabinet.

OPERATION
OPERATION
THE EQUIPMENT MAY ONLY BE OPERATED BY THE TRAINED STAFF!
Risk of electric shock
In case of any danger, disconnect the compressor from the mains (pull out the mains plug).
Risk of burn or fire.
During compressor operation, the pump parts may heat to temperatures dangerous for contact with persons or materials.
Warning – compressor is controlled automatically.
Automatic start-up. When pressure in the pressure tank drops to switch-on pressure, the compressor automatically switches on. The compressor automatically switches off, when pressure in the air tank reaches the switch-off pressure.
Hazard of damage to pneumatic components.
Working pressures of the pressure switch set by the manufacturer must not be changed. If the compressor operates at higher working pressure than the switchon pressure, it means that the air consumption is too high (see Chapter
Malfunctions)
Hazard of damage to dryer.
When the dryer is operated at ambient temperature that is higher than maximum operating temperature stated in Technical data, the dryer can be damaged .
Prior to operation it is necessary to connect the housing using output transition piece for compressed air via internal thread G 1/4“. Disconnect the connected device only after the reduction of pressure in the pneumatic system to zero!
Required drying performance can only be achieved when the defined operating conditions are followed.
Drying performance decreases and the achieved dew point drops if the dryer is operated at any pressure below the minimum working pressure.
During longer operation of the compressor, the temperature in the surrounding of the compressor increases above 40 °C and the cooling fan switches on automatically. After cooling the space below 32 °C, the fan switches off.
NP-DK50 PLUS, 2V-MOBILE-A-4_12-2019-MD 26 12/2019
OPERATION
14. SWITCHING ON THE COMPRESSOR
(Fig. 3) The compressor is activated using the main switch on the cabinet (28). The compressor will
start and compressed air will fill the air tank. As the compressed air is used, the pressure in the air tank drops to a pre-set level, the compressor switches on and compressed air is supplied to the tank. Once the shut-off pressure is reached the compressor automatically shuts down. The compressor comes back on once the pressure in the air tank decreases to the switching-on pressure.
The switching pressures are checked using the pressure gauge (32). A tolerance of
10% is acceptable. The pressure in the air tank may not exceed the permitted operating pressure.
Compressor (without dryer)
– when first started and put into operation, the compressor fills the air tank to the switch-off pressure and the pressure switch turns off the compressor. Then the compressor operates in automatic mode, switches on and off depending on compressed air consumption.
Compressor with dryer
– the compressor operates in the same manner as above, only the compressed air passes through the cooler that removes moisture from the compressed air.
Risk of damage to pneumatic parts.
The pressure switch (1) was set up by the manufacturer and any other changes to it settings may be performed only by a qualified technician trained by the manufacturer.
15. SWITCHING OFF THE COMPRESSOR
(Fig. 3) The main switch (28) and pulling the mains plug is used to switch off the compressor to
perform service or for any other reason. This disconnects the compressor from the power
Vent the pressure in the air tank to zero by opening the drain valve.

7. PRODUKTFUNKTION
7.1. Kompressor
Luftentweichung (rund 0,5 bar/30 min.).

15. AUSSCHALTEN DES KOMPRESSORS

7. FUNKCIA VÝROBKU
7.1. Kompresor
Agregát kompresora (1) nasáva atmosférický vzduch cez vstupný filter (8) a stláča ho cez spätný ventil (3) do vzdušníka (2) a spotrebič odoberá stlačený vzduch zo vzdušníka.
7.2. Kompresor s membránovým sušičom
Agregát kompresora (1) nasáva atmosférický vzduch cez vstupný filter (8) a stlačený ho dodáva chladičom (10) cez filter (11), spätný ventil (3) do sušiča (9), vysušený a čistý do vzdušníka
(2).
Keďže membránový sušič obsahuje vlákna so selektívnou membránou, dochádza cez ne k malému úniku vzduchu (približne 0,5 bar/30min)
Zvýšená tuhosť konštrukcie skrinky a použité odolné ko lieska zabezpečujú jej ľahkú a jednoduchú manipuláciu.
V prednej časti horného veka skrinky sa nachádzajú: manometer výstupného tlaku, regulátor tlaku, sieťový spínač, signalizácia stavu ON/OFF (zelená kontrolka) a signalizácia zvýšenej teploty v skrinke (oranžová kontrolka). Prívodná elektrická šnúra je vyvedená zo zadnej spodnej časti skrinky
(19). Pneumatické prepojenie tvorí hadica Ø 6/4 odvodu kondenzátu so sušiča s prechodkou výstupu kondenzátu zo skrinky (24) a výstup tlakového vzduchu z kompresora (23) hadicou Ø 10/8

A utomatické spustenie.

OBSLUHA
14. ZAPNUTIE KOMPRESORA
Kompresor zapnúť sieťovým spínačom na skrinke (28). Kompresor začne pracovať a tlakovať vzduch do vzdušníka.
10%. Tlak vzduchu vo vzdušníku nesmie prekročiť povolený prevádzkový tlak.
Kompresor bez sušiča – kompresor pri prvom zapnutí a uvedení do činnosti sa naplní vzdušník n a vypínací tlak a tlakový spínač vypne kompresor. Ďalej kompresor pracuje už v automatickom režime, podľa spotreby stlačeného vzduchu sa kompresor zapína a vypína.
Kompresor so sušičom – kompresor pracuje rovnako ako v predchádzajúcom prípade avšak počas činnosti kompresora stlačený vzduch prechádza sušičom, ktorý odoberá vlhkosť zo stlačeného vzduchu.
Nebezpečenstvo poškodenia pneumatických častí.
Tlakový spínač (1) bol nastavený u výrobcu a ďalšie nastavenie zapínacieho a vypínacieho tlaku môže vykonať iba kvalifikovaný odborník vyškolený výrobcom.
15. VYPNUTIE KOMPRESORA
