When Other Messages Appear

When the User Lacks Privileges to Perform an Operation

Message

"You do not have the privileges to use this function."

"The selected file(s) contained file(s) without access privileges. Only file(s) with access privileges will be deleted."

Cause

The logged in user name does not have permissions for the selected function.

You have tried to delete files without the permission to do so.

Solution

When the LDAP Server Cannot Be Used

Message

"Connection with LDAP server has failed. Check the server status."

Cause

A network error has occurred and connection has failed.

"Exceeded time limit for

LDAP server search. Check the server status."

A network error has occurred and connection has failed.

"LDAP server authentication has failed. Check the settings."

A network error has occurred and connection has failed.

Solution

Try the operation again. If the message is still displayed, the network may be busy.

[System Settings]. For details about settings for LDAP server, see

Settings.
