6.6 Maretron DCR100 Configuration

The DSM250 is capable of configuring the Maretron DCR100 DC Relay device. This section describes the configuration of the Maretron DCR100 firmware version 1.1.1. The main DCR100 configuration screen is shown below.

6.6.1 Advanced Configuration

Advanced Configuration changes some complex parameters within the device, and should only be performed by an advanced user. Typically advanced configuration is only done at installation and should not need to be done while at sea.

6.6.1.1 Current Sensor Zero Offset Calibration

The DCR100 contains Hall-effect current sensors. In order to ensure maximum accuracy, you should perform this calibration step while there is no current flowing through the current sensors. Move the

highlight bar to the Current Sensor Zero Offset Calibration and press the Enter button. The following confirmation screen will be displayed:

Press Begin to execute the calibration process or Cancel to return to the previous menu. During the calibration process, all channels will be turned off. When the calibration is complete, the following screen will be displayed.

Press the Back button to return to the previous menu.

6.6.1.2 Device Instance

This entry allows you to program the NMEA 2000 device instance for the unit. You usually will not need to modify the default value of “0”.
