Immediate PAUSE function
Introduction
Activating the function
This function allows you, in automatic mode, to cause the moving part to stop, while assuring, at the time of the command to restart the movement, the continuation of the programmed trajectory (with no risk of commands being refused).
The immediate PAUSE function is activated by assigning the value 0 to the word
CMV (%QWxy.i.1), the coefficient of speed modulation.
It makes the moving part stop in accordance with the programmed deceleration.
The status report on the pause is signaled by the bit IM_PAUSE (%Ixy.i.34).
Deactivating the function
The immediate PAUSE function is deactivated by reassigning the initial value (> 0) to the word CMV, the coefficient of speed modulation.
It causes the interrupted movement to restart at the speed corresponding to:
F x CMV / 1000.
Example Activation / deactivation of the immediate PAUSE function:
SMOVE %CH2.0 (1,90,10,5000000,1000,0);
SMOVE %CH2.0 (2,90,09,7500000,500,0);
...............................
IF RE %M10 THEN %MW100:= %QWxy.i.1; %QWxy.i.1:= 0;
IF RE %M10 THEN %QWxy.i.1:= %MW100;

Programming
Note: when the aimed for position is overstepped when there is a stop following an immediate pause command, the current movement is considered terminated. In this case the trajectory restarts with the movement which was waiting in the memory buffer.
