Position reading
Calculation of the Position
Value
Using an incremental or absolute position encoder, the module calculates: l l the angular position value of the machine, the turn number value (for multi-turn processes).
All the operations performed in the module are based on the angular value. The number of turns may be taken into account in the sequential program.
