22 TROUBLESHOOTING

Faults

Combination instrument shows nothing on the display

Engine does not crank when the electric starter button is pressed

Engine turns only if the clutch lever is drawn

Engine turns although a gear is engaged

Engine turns but does not start

Possible cause

Fuse

The battery is discharged

Ignition/steering lock is faulty

Emergency OFF switch is off

Action
