Downloading Data by Group
Wireless Communication:[ Gather Data]
The RTR-500DC Base Unit can download recorded data from up to
128 Remote Units at one time.
1. In the Main Menu, open [WL Gather Data].
2.
Select the Target for downloading.
[All Groups]: Download from all registered groups
[Specify Group]: Download from only the specified group
3. Select the Download Mode in the [Execute] window.
[COM Route] : Select route of communication
[Direct] : Communicate directly without Repeaters
[As Set]: Communicate according to Wireless Route Settings.
As the RTR-500DC is a hand held portable Base Unit, it is recommended to set to
[Direct] so as to shorten communication time.
The above selection of communication route applies for communication with groups registered via the RTR-500DC Settings Utility. When communication is carried out with any group which has been registered for “Visitor Entry”, always select [Direct].
* For details about "Visitor Entry", see page 51.
[Period] : Period for Download Settings
[1 hour] to [47 hours] (in units of 1 hour)
[2 days] to [300 days] (in units of 1 day)
[All Data] : All of the data stored in the Remote Unit will be downloaded.

- If there is not enough memory left in the RTR-500DC for the data stored in the
Remote Unit, the RTR-500DC will skip it and go to the next Remote Unit to download data. Only Remote Units whose stored data does not exceed the available memory capacity in the RTR-500DC can be the target of downloading.
