Registering and Unregistering Remote Units for

"Visitor Entry"

[ Visitor Entry]

This function allows for non-regular wireless communication between an RTR-500DC and Remote Units which have been registered in

RTR-500 Series Base Units.

Up to 42 Remote Units can be assigned “Visitor Entry” status.

1.

In the Main Menu, open [WL Visitor Entry].

2. To assign “Visitor Entry” status to a Remote Unit, place the target

Remote Unit face down on the RTR-500DC connected to the PC, and select [Accept Visitor RU].

3. A [Completed] message will appear with the Serial No. and Unit

Name* of the Remote Unit which has been assigned “Visitor Entry” status.

* This shows the Remote Unit

Name entered when Remote

Unit Registration was carried out.

4. To release “Visitor Entry” status, select [Release One] and choose

Registration Error Messages

[Unregistered]

This message appears when communication is carried out between the RTR-500DC and a Data Logger which is in its original factory default settings or has been re-initialized by using the RTR-500DC Settings Utility.

[Duplication] / Remote Unit Name (alternating display)

They will be alternately displayed when communication is carried out with any Remote Unit which has been already registered for “Visitor Entry” or any Remote Unit which has the same Remote Unit Number or the same Group Registration

Info.

[Incompatible]

This message appears when communication is carried out between the RTR-500DC and an incompatible Data Logger.
