Warning Monitoring. T&D RTR-500DC | Manualzz

Warning Monitoring

In the process of monitoring, the RTR-500DC will monitor for warnings. When receiving information that a warning has occurred in a

Remote Unit, a warning buzzer will sound.

Target Remote Units for Warning Monitoring

Warning Monitoring will be carried out only for those Remote Units which have been set to have warning monitoring ON in the Remote

Unit Settings of the RTR-500DC Settings Utility. Remote Units which have been set to OFF will only have their current readings gathered.

Warning Conditions

A warning will be judged according to the Judgement Time and Upper

/ Lower Limits settings for each measurement item, which have been made in the RTR-500DC Settings Utility. If the Upper or Lower Limit is exceeded for the set length of time, a warning will be judged to have occurred.

Warning Buzzer

If a warning occurs in a Remote Unit that is being monitored, the buzzer in the RTR-500DC will emit a "beeping" sound.

About the Timing for Starting Warning Monitoring

If warning monitoring is started for a Remote Unit in which a warning is already occurring, neither the Warning Judgement Icon or Warning Buzzer will be activated.

When the cause of the warning returns to normal and the warning stops in the

Remote Unit, the Warning Monitoring Function for that unit will be enabled.

Erasing the Warning Judgement Icon

Once the Warning Judgement Icon appears in the display, it will remain on even after the warning stops in the Remote Unit. If you wish to erase the icon, stop monitoring by pressing the Operation Dial and reset the monitoring in the [Target] window.
