Troubleshooting

The Troubleshooting table indicates measures to be taken if the sensor stops working.

LED indicator/fault pattern

Green LED flashes

Switching outputs do not behave in accordance with 3

Cause

IO-Link communication

1. IO-Link communication

2. Change of the configuration

3. Short-circuit

The sensing range distance is too large

Measures

None

1. None

2. Adjustment of the configura‐ tion

3. Check electrical connections

Reduce the sensing range

(Rotate to the left)

Light spot is aligned to the background, no object in beam path, yellow LED does not light up

Light spot is aligned to the background, object in beam path, yellow LED lights up

Sensing range is set too low Increase the sensing range

(Rotate to the right)

Disassembly and disposal

The sensor must be disposed of according to the applicable country-specific regula‐ tions. Efforts should be made during the disposal process to recycle the constituent materials (particularly precious metals).
